Job descriptionF2 Fintech is looking for an experienced and analytical Credit Manager to manage credit appraisal, underwriting, risk assessment, and approval of loan applications.

The Credit Manager will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of customers, assessing financial and business profiles, ensuring adherence to credit policies, identifying potential risks, and supporting healthy portfolio growth while maintaining credit quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Credit Appraisal & Underwriting

Review and evaluate loan applications received from the Sales and Operations teams.

Conduct detailed credit assessment of customers based on income, financials, banking transactions, credit history, business profile, and other relevant parameters.

Assess the repayment capacity and overall creditworthiness of applicants.

Analyze financial statements, bank statements, ITRs, GST returns, salary slips, and other financial documents as applicable.

Evaluate customer profiles for Personal Loans, Business Loans, Professional Loans, Home Loans, LAP, and other financial products.

Make credit recommendations based on established policies and risk parameters.

- Credit Risk Assessment

Identify potential credit, financial, fraud, and repayment risks associated with applications.

Analyze bureau reports, repayment history, existing obligations, FOIR/DTI, LTV, and other applicable credit parameters.

Verify the authenticity and consistency of financial and customer information.

Conduct detailed risk assessment for complex or high-value cases.

Escalate exceptional or high-risk cases to the appropriate authority.





- Decision Making & Approval

Approve, reject, or recommend applications within delegated authority limits.

Ensure credit decisions are based on objective analysis and documented rationale.

Review deviations and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.

Maintain a balance between business growth and portfolio quality.

Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and partner/lender guidelines.

- Coordination with Sales & Operations

Work closely with Sales, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Management teams.

Provide clear feedback on application deficiencies and documentation requirements.

Support Sales teams in understanding credit policies and eligibility criteria.

Resolve credit-related queries and ensure timely decision-making.

Minimize unnecessary delays while maintaining appropriate credit controls.

- Documentation & Compliance

Ensure all credit documentation is complete, accurate, and properly verified.

Maintain proper records of credit assessments and approval decisions.

Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, credit policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Support internal and external audits when required.





Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of customer financial information.

- Portfolio Monitoring

Monitor portfolio quality and identify early warning indicators.

Track approval quality, rejection trends, delinquency indicators, and other relevant credit metrics.

Analyze portfolio performance and recommend corrective measures.

Identify recurring risk patterns and recommend improvements to credit policies or processes.

- MIS & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly credit MIS reports.

Track credit approvals, rejections, pendency, TAT, deviations, and portfolio performance.

Provide management with insights on credit quality and emerging risks.

Maintain accurate records of credit decisions and application status.

- Policy & Process Improvement

Review existing credit processes and identify areas for improvement.

Provide recommendations for improving underwriting efficiency and risk controls.

Support development and implementation of credit scoring, underwriting frameworks, and approval matrices.

Stay updated on market trends, lending practices, and relevant regulatory requirements.

- Team Management

Lead and mentor credit analysts/executives, where applicable.

Allocate cases and monitor team productivity and TAT.

Conduct regular quality checks on credit assessments.

Provide training on credit policies, underwriting standards, and risk assessment.

Ensure the credit team maintains high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Pay: ₹410,000.00 - ₹610,000.00 per year
