Role Description The Credentialing and Enrollment Specialist is responsible for managing provider credentialing and payer enrollment processes for healthcare clients. This in office role, based in India, involves preparing, submitting, and tracking credentialing and enrollment applications to various payers and regulatory bodies. The specialist reviews provider information for accuracy, maintains up-to-date records, and ensures compliance with payer and accreditation requirements.
Daily tasks include coordinating with providers and internal teams, following up on pending applications, resolving discrepancies,
and updating systems with current status and documentation. The role also involves generating reports, supporting recredentialing and renewals, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess knowledge of provider credentialing, recredentialing, and payer enrollment processes, including application requirements and compliance standards.
- Candidates should possess solid data management and documentation skills, including accuracy in handling provider information and maintaining organized records in relevant systems.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate with providers, payers, and internal teams professionally.
