Role Description The Country Manager role at Peko is a full-time, remote position responsible for leading Peko’s market presence and operations within a specific country. This includes developing and executing country-level growth strategies, building and managing relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, and identifying current business opportunities.

The Country

Manager will oversee local sales, marketing, and customer success activities, ensuring that revenue targets and customer satisfaction goals are met. Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring market trends, adapting Peko’s offerings to local needs, coordinating with cross-functional global teams,



and ensuring compliance with relevant country regulations. The role also includes managing a local team or network of collaborators, setting performance targets, and reporting on country performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in country or regional leadership roles, with responsibility for market development, revenue growth, and team management.
- Strong commercial skills, including business development, sales strategy, and account management within B2B or SaaS environments.
- Background in financial services, payments, fintech, or enterprise software is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and adapt strategies to local business conditions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and remote teams.
- Experience working in a remote, fast-paced, and scaling organization, with comfort in using digital collaboration tools.
- Fluency in English; additional local languages are an advantage depending on the country of operation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- High level of integrity, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to solving operational and commercial challenges.
