Job Title: Country Manager – India

Reports to: India Country Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and develop Hangcha's dealer network across India, including recruitment, performance evaluation, and replacement when needed.
- Oversee daily operations of the India office, including warehouse management, inventory control, and spare parts supply.
- Lead a local team of sales, service, and support staff; set targets, conduct performance reviews, and drive team capability building.
- Develop annual sales plans and achieve revenue and market share targets in the Indian MHE market.
- Monitor competitor activities (Toyota, Godrej, ACE, KION, etc.) and provide market intelligence to headquarters.
- Ensure compliance with Indian regulations, including customs, taxation, labor laws, and import policies.
- Coordinate with Hangcha's Thailand factory and China headquarters on product supply, pricing, and after-sales support.

Requirements




- Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the material handling equipment or construction machinery industry, with at least 3 years in a senior management role in India.
- Proven track record in dealer management, team leadership, and P&L; responsibility.
- Strong understanding of the Indian MHE market, including key customers, distribution channels, and competitive landscape.
- Fluent in English and Hindi; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
