Copywriter

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end copy requirements across our marketing channels and product/app.

The role will involve creating short-form, conversion-focused, engaging, and brand-consistent content for campaigns, while also taking ownership of all copy that goes live across the app.

Key Responsibilities

- Write engaging and concise copy for Push Notifications (PNS).
- Create content for WhatsApp Bulk Messaging campaigns, including promotional, transactional, renewal, reactivation, and engagement campaigns.
- Develop compelling emailer content, including subject lines, pre-headers, body copy, CTAs, and campaign messaging.
- Write SMS content while keeping the copy concise and within character limitations.
- Take complete ownership of app content/copy, including:
- One-liners
- Headings and sub-headings
- Button/CTA text
- Labels and microcopy
- Feature descriptions
- Pop-ups and banners
- In-app messages
- Error/confirmation messages
- Onboarding and user-flow content
- Ensure that every piece of copy going live on the app is grammatically correct, clear, user-friendly, and aligned with the brand tone.
- Develop copy for different marketing campaigns and customer communication journeys.
- Understand the objective and target audience of each campaign and create relevant, impactful messaging accordingly.
- Create multiple copy variations for A/B testing and campaign optimization.
- Work closely with the Marketing, CRM, Design, Product, and other teams to understand requirements and deliver content on time.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, terminology,



and messaging across all channels.
- Proofread and review content before publishing to ensure there are no grammatical, spelling, factual, or communication errors.
- Continuously improve existing copy based on campaign performance, user behaviour, and feedback.
- Maintain a structured repository of approved copies, templates, and frequently used messaging.

Required Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
- Ability to write short, catchy, and impactful copy without losing clarity.
- Strong understanding of marketing and customer communication.
- Ability to adapt tone and messaging according to different campaigns and audiences.
- Good understanding of CTA-driven and conversion-focused copywriting.
- Ability to write both creative and functional/product copy.
- Robust attention to detail, especially for short-form and app microcopy.
- Ability to work on multiple content requirements and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of CRM, email marketing, PNS, WhatsApp marketing, SMS, and app communication will be an advantage.

What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate should be someone who can take complete ownership of the copy/content function—from a single-word button label or app heading to a full WhatsApp, email, PNS, or SMS campaign.

They should be able to understand what the user needs to read, where they need to read it, and how the message should be communicated in the fewest and most effective words.
