Role Description This is a full-time remote Content Writer role.

The Content

Writer will create clear, engaging, and accurate content for the GetCollg. website, including college profiles, course descriptions, guides, and blog articles that help students navigate higher education choices. Day-to-day tasks include researching colleges and courses, organizing information, writing and updating content, and ensuring consistency in tone and style. The role also involves collaborating with the product and marketing teams to align content with user needs, optimizing content for search,



and maintaining quality standards through regular reviews and revisions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Web Content Writing and Writing skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a straightforward, student-friendly manner.
- Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills, including planning content topics, structuring information, and aligning content with user journeys and business goals.
- Candidates should possess solid Research skills to gather accurate data on colleges, courses, and admission processes from reliable sources.
- Candidates should possess Proofreading skills to ensure error-free, grammatically correct, and consistent content.
- Excellent command of written English and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage deadlines, and handle multiple content tasks at once.
- Prior experience in education, edtech, or student-facing content is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Education, or a related field is beneficial.
