Org. & Talent Consultant who provides end-to-end solutions and support inside the client to bring about real change – especially in the areas of Org. Design, Performance & Talent Management, Rewards Design

Why this role exists

At People Equation, we believe the best consulting involves not only solutioning but stays close enough to see change happen.

Our consultants work alongside leadership teams and HR functions inside the client's context, helping solve organisation and talent challenges from diagnosis through implementation. We combine strategic thinking with operational capabilities and remain engaged until solutions become part of the way the organisation works.

We call this our Forward-Deployed Consulting model.

Our work for clients spans four interconnected dimensions:

- Org. Design & Talent Solutions — Design organisation structures and operating models, workforce planning, build job and career architecture, design performance & talent management processes, and rewards design.
- Deployment & Change — Help organisations deploy the solutions and adopt, embed and sustain change through practical implementation, stakeholder engagement and capability building.
- HR Partnering & Operations — Work alongside client business and HR teams (as a project / in fractional capacity) to ensure operational efficiencies, compliant functioning, and the right culture and employee experience.
- Recruitment — Strengthen organisations through executive search and recruitment advisory that ensure right people are in the right roles.

What you'll do

You'll work directly with client leadership on organisation and talent challenges. Your core work:





- Organisation & Operating Model Design — structure, spans and layers, role charters, design options and trade-offs; and how work, decisions and accountabilities flow across the organisation
- Workforce Planning — demand and supply modelling, productivity, cost-to-serve, build / buy / borrow choices
- Performance & Talent Management – philosophy & process design, performance scorecards, performance & potential assessment, talent review
- Job Architecture and Career Frameworks — job families, job levelling, career architecture
- Rewards Design — grades and bands, benchmarking, incentive and variable pay structures

You may also contribute across the wider practice:
- Leadership development, culture and change
- HR transformation and fractional HR services (including operations, compliance)
- Learning and development
- Executive search and mid-level recruitment, as part of broader client solutions

Apart from project work, you will support client accounts, help strengthen the assets / IP of the practice, and build capability in fellow consultants.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for consultants who enjoy solving business problems through people solutions. Typically, you'll bring:

- 4 - 5 years of experience across HR consulting and HR COEs / business partnering
- Hands-on project depth in organisation design,



operating models, workforce planning, performance management, job architecture or compensation design.
- Practical exposure to HR operations and business partnering
- Working knowledge of executive search, recruitment or talent acquisition
- Solid facilitation, communication and structured problem-solving skills
- Comfort with data — able to build and defend a model in Excel, and read market benchmarking well
- Intermediate or higher-level skills in AI and the ability to leverage it to improve impact

Success looks like

Within your first year, you'll have:

- Led organisation design or workforce planning workstreams from diagnosis through implementation
- Delivered design artefacts clients actually adopt — structures, scorecards, architecture, pay frameworks
- Become a trusted advisor to multiple client leaders
- Delivered measurable business and people outcomes
- Contributed to People Equation's consulting IP and AI-enabled ways of working
- Built lasting client relationships that lead to repeat opportunities

What this role is not

This isn't a strategy-only consulting role, nor is it purely an HRBP, L&D; or recruitment role.

It's for consultants who enjoy staying close to clients, solving real organisational problems through advisory & services, and creating lasting change.
