Job Summary
Trinity Eye Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Consultant Phaco Surgeon to provide comprehensive cataract and anterior segment surgical care. The consultant will be responsible for performing high-volume phacoemulsification surgeries, managing OPD patients, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes, and contributing to the hospital’s quality and academic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Phacoemulsification cataract surgeries independently.
- Evaluate and manage cataract and anterior segment patients in OPD.
- Conduct pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.
- Diagnose and treat common ophthalmic conditions within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and surgical records.
- Ensure compliance with NABH protocols,
infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, outreach camps, and academic activities.
- Collaborate with optometrists, nursing staff, and OT teams for seamless patient care.
Qualifications
- MS/DNB in Ophthalmology (Mandatory)
- Fellowship/Training in Phaco & Anterior Segment Surgery preferred.
- Valid State Medical Council Registration.
Experience
- 2–5+ years of experience as a Phaco Surgeon.
- Proven experience in independent phaco surgeries with excellent surgical outcomes.
- Experience in premium IOLs and complicated cataract cases is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
