Role Description This full-time Construction Site Engineer role is an on-site position based in Chennai, intended for fresher candidates who can join immediately. The role involves overseeing day-to-day construction activities, coordinating with civil and structural engineers, and ensuring work is executed according to design specifications and safety standards.

The Site

Engineer will monitor quality control on materials and workmanship, assist in managing contractors and site labor, and maintain accurate site records and reports. The role also includes regular communication with project managers, designers, and clients to provide updates, address on-site issues,



and support smooth project delivery. The successful candidate will learn and apply industry best practices while supporting multiple interior and construction projects for residential and commercial spaces.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong on-site execution and supervision skills, including basic understanding of construction workflows and site safety practices.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with project teams, contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Candidates should possess quality control skills, including attention to detail in checking materials, finishes, and adherence to design and technical specifications.
- Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge, preferably with a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Ability to read drawings and construction plans, basic knowledge of MS Office or project documentation tools, and willingness to work full time on-site in Chennai.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a quick-paced project environment; prior internship or project experience in construction or interiors is an advantage.
