NewAge PU College is looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Computer Science Lecturer to teach PUC students and help them develop strong programming, problem-solving and computational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science for PUC students as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Plan and deliver clear, engaging and practical classroom sessions.
- Teach programming concepts, problem-solving techniques and other syllabus-related topics.
- Conduct and supervise Computer Science practical/lab sessions.
- Prepare lesson plans, notes, assignments, question papers and study materials.
- Conduct regular tests and assessments and monitor students’ academic progress.
- Prepare students effectively for PU Board Examinations.
- Provide additional academic support and doubt-clearing sessions when required.
- Maintain student attendance, assessment and performance records.
- Encourage students to develop logical thinking, coding and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, student-friendly learning environment.
- Participate in examinations, departmental meetings, academic activities and college events.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications / Information Technology or a relevant field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. preferred, where applicable.
- Previous teaching experience at the PUC / 11th–12th level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of programming and core Computer Science concepts.
- Good practical knowledge of computer laboratory activities.
- Excellent communication, presentation and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a straightforward and student-friendly manner.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring and supporting students.
