Computer Lab Technician

Location: St. Wilfred’s College, Mansarovar, Jaipur

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Joining: Immediate Joiner Preferred

Experience: 1–3 years preferred

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Computer Lab Technician to manage and maintain the college computer lab, ensure all systems are working properly and provide technical support to students, faculty and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and monitor computers, printers, networking equipment and other lab hardware.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows, software applications, drivers, and peripherals.
- Ensure all computers and lab equipment are functioning properly.
- Provide technical assistance to students, faculty and staff.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, LAN and basic networking issues.
- Maintain computer lab records, inventory and equipment.
- Perform regular system updates, antivirus checks, backups and basic security measures.
- Assist with setting up systems and equipment for classes, practical sessions, and examinations.
- Coordinate with vendors or IT teams for major hardware/software issues.




- Keep the computer lab clean, organized and ready for daily use.

Required Skills:

- Good computer knowledge is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of LAN, networking, printers and peripherals.
- Ability to install software and configure systems.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple technical issues.
- Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.

Qualification:

- Diploma / ITI / BCA / B.Sc. Computer Science / relevant IT qualification preferred.
- Freshers with strong practical computer knowledge may also be considered.

Salary & Advantages: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on skills and experience.
