We are looking for a hands-on, organized and digitally savvy person to help manage the day-to-day Admin operations of the HobbyMela platform, onboard and support artists, and manage our social media publishing.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with artists and creators, is comfortable with digital platforms, and can independently manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Website & Platform Administration

- Manage day-to-day updates and administration of the HobbyMela website
- Ensure artist information, images, descriptions and their listings are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate internally to ensure new content and platform updates go live on time.
- Identify and report website/content issues and coordinate their resolution.
- Maintain basic platform records, trackers and reports.

2. Artist Onboarding & Relationship Support

- Reach out to artists, introduce HobbyMela and onboard them onto the platform.
- Guide artists through the onboarding process and ensure their profiles, listings and content are complete and up to date.
- Follow up with artists for required information, images, content and approvals.
- Build and maintain an active relationship with the artist community, keeping artists engaged with relevant HobbyMela opportunities and initiatives.
- Maintain an organized database of onboarded and prospective artists.

Social Media Posting

- Manage day-to-day posting across HobbyMela's social media channels.
- Execute the social media calendar created by the content team
- Write/edit basic captions and social copy.
- Schedule and publish content consistently.
- Support promotional campaigns for artists, workshops, experiences and corporate offerings.

4. Coordination & Execution

- Coordinate with the founder, content team, curator, sales team and external artists to keep activities moving.
- Maintain trackers for artist onboarding, website updates and social media publishing.
- Ensure agreed tasks are followed through within timelines.
- Take ownership of day-to-day execution rather than waiting for detailed instructions.

What We're Looking For

- 1–3 years of experience in digital operations, social media, community management, content coordination or a similar role.
- Comfortable working with websites/CMS and basic digital tools.
- Valuable written communication and social media skills.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, independent and willing to get hands-on in a startup environment.
