About the Role:

Threatcop is expanding its Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and organic demand capture efforts, working alongside GeoZ, to improve our visibility in search and AI-generated answers around cybersecurity, security awareness, and human risk management topics.

We're hiring a Reddit Content Writer & Community Manager to build an authentic, helpful presence for Threatcop on Reddit. This person will research buyer questions, write genuinely useful posts and replies across relevant subreddits, and manage ongoing community engagement — always with transparent brand affiliation and respect for each community's rules and norms.

This role sits at the intersection of content writing, community management, and organic growth strategy. It will work closely with the SEO/GEO team and subject-matter experts to turn research and product knowledge into content that resonates on Reddit specifically.

What You'll Do:

Content Writing

- Write clear, well-researched, non-promotional Reddit posts and replies on topics including cybersecurity, security awareness, social engineering, AI vishing, and deepfakes.
- Translate approved research, internal insights, and product knowledge into content formats that work on Reddit — informational posts, comparisons, AMAs, discussion threads, and thoughtful replies.
- Maintain a helpful, transparent tone that discloses brand affiliation where relevant and complies with Reddit's self-promotion norms.

Community Management

- Identify and map relevant subreddits (cybersecurity, InfoSec, IT, risk management, and adjacent communities) worth engaging in.
- Monitor ongoing discussions and buyer questions to spot content gaps and engagement opportunities.
- Manage day-to-day responses and engagement, building credibility and trust within each community over time.
- Learn and strictly follow each subreddit's specific rules, culture, and moderation expectations.

Collaboration & Reporting

- Work with the SEO/GEO team (including external partner GeoZ)



to align content with identified buyer questions, content gaps, and GEO priorities.
- Incorporate feedback from performance results to continuously refine content and engagement approach.
- Flag emerging themes, objections, or misconceptions in the community back to the marketing/product team.

What We're Looking For:

- 1–3 years of experience in content writing, community management, or social/organic marketing (Reddit experience strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated understanding of how Reddit communities work — tone, etiquette, self-promotion rules, and what gets downvoted vs. valued.
- Strong writing skills: able to make technical or security-related topics clear and useful without sounding like marketing copy.
- Interest in or working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (security awareness, social engineering, phishing/vishing, deepfakes) — or a fast learner willing to build this knowledge.
- Comfortable researching independently and synthesizing input from SMEs into original content.
- Close attention to detail and judgment around brand voice, disclosure, and community trust.
- Self-starter who can manage ongoing engagement consistently, not just one-off posts.

Nice to Have:

- Prior experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or IT industry content.
- Familiarity with GEO/SEO concepts and how AI-generated answers surface content.
- Existing reputation or karma history in relevant subreddits.

Success Metrics (Illustrative):

- Growth in authentic engagement (upvotes, comments, saves) on relevant subreddits.




- Increase in brand mentions/visibility in relevant Reddit threads and AI-generated answer citations.
- Number of buyer questions/content gaps identified and converted into content.
- Community standing (account credibility, mod relationships, no bans/flags for rule violations).
