We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. The candidate will assist senior chefs in food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and ensure food is prepared according to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and cooking.

- Prepare vegetables, meats, sauces, garnishes, and other ingredients.

- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.

- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.

- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients.

- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.

- Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen supplies.

- Maintain proper use and cleanliness of kitchen equipment.

- Minimize food wastage and follow portion-control guidelines.

- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.





- Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or Sous Chef.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or kitchen trainee is preferred.

- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.

- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.

- Ability to work in a rapid-paced kitchen environment.

- Good teamwork and communication skills.

- Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.

- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
