Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting, with a focus on property, engineering, and miscellaneous lines.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including Marine and Liability, is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess risk and make informed judgments.
- Proficiency in using underwriting software and tools to efficiently process proposals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision in underwriting.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of proposals with tight deadlines.
