Job Title: Commercial Operations Analyst (Leases) – Deal Preparation, Documentation & Funding

The role will support the Asset, Finance, and Documentation function and will be responsible for the end-to-end operational activities required to prepare commercial lease transactions for documentation, closing, booking, and funding.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Commercial Leasing Operations, Lease Deal Preparation, Lease Documentation, Funding Review, Invoice Validation, UCC Search, and Lease Closing activities . The candidate will work closely with customers, vendors, Credit, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure lease transactions are complete, accurate, and ready for funding and booking.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Preparation & Validation

- Work with customers and vendors to obtain, validate, and correct invoices and supporting documentation for commercial lease transactions.
- Validate lease structure, transaction details, pricing, and approved deal terms with clients.
- Review transaction information to ensure alignment with approved lease structure and requirements.
- Perform UCC search reviews and identify discrepancies, missing information, or documentation gaps.
- Review and reconcile invoices against lease transaction requirements.
- Set up lease transactions in the Rapport system and validate system information.
- Review asset and equipment information to ensure accuracy and consistency across transaction documentation.
- Identify missing information or discrepancies and coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders for resolution.

Lease Documentation & Funding Review

- Review prepared lease documentation packages before they are released to clients.
- Ensure required lease agreements, supporting documentation, approvals, and transaction information are complete and accurate.
- Perform final quality checks to confirm the lease transaction is ready for closing and funding.
- Support funding approval upon receipt and validation of a complete documentation package.




- Review Rapport system setup to ensure lease transactions are properly configured for booking.
- Generate required lease documentation and coordinate conveyance of documents to clients.
- Support specialty equipment and collateral transactions and related documentation requirements.
- Assist with STB/FAA filings and other transaction-related documentation activities, as applicable.
- Coordinate with Legal, Credit, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve documentation, closing, or funding issues.

Operational Controls & Stakeholder Management

- Ensure lease transactions meet established operational, documentation, quality, and funding standards.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and supporting documentation throughout the lease lifecycle.
- Track outstanding documentation and follow up with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support quality control, audit, and operational review activities.
- Meet established SLAs while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Identify opportunities to improve lease deal preparation, documentation, closing, booking, and funding processes .
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely transaction completion.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–7 years of experience in Commercial Leasing Operations, Lease Operations, Asset Finance, Equipment Finance, Documentation, Deal Preparation, Funding, or Banking Operations .
- Strong understanding of commercial lease transaction workflows .
- Experience reviewing and validating lease/deal documentation.
- Experience with invoice review, reconciliation, and transaction validation.
- Knowledge of UCC searches and commercial lease documentation.
- Experience supporting lease closing, booking, and funding processes.




- Experience working with customers, vendors, and internal operations teams.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and documentation gaps.
- Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet time-sensitive funding deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- U.S. Commercial Banking / Financial Services experience – strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Rapport or similar leasing/asset finance platforms.
- Experience with InfoLease or other commercial lease servicing platforms.
- Experience supporting commercial leasing, equipment finance, or specialty finance operations.
- Knowledge of specialty equipment and collateral documentation.
- Exposure to STB/FAA filings or similar transaction documentation processes.
- Experience working with Credit, Legal, Operations, Relationship Management, and Documentation teams.
- Knowledge of U.S. commercial leasing documentation, closing, booking, and funding practices.
