Our Client is an early-stage startup building a product designed to solve a meaningful problem in the human resources (HR) technology industry. Their goal is to build a scalable product that delivers real value to users while moving quickly and learning from the market.

We are looking for a Technical Co-Founder / CTO to join the founding team and take ownership of the product’s technical vision, architecture, and development.

This is a founding role with significant equity and the opportunity to shape the company from the ground up.

Role Overview

The CTO / Technical Co-Founder will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling the technology platform that powers the business.

You will work closely with the founder to transform the product vision into a working platform, launch the MVP, iterate based on user feedback, and build a scalable technology organization over time.

This role requires someone who is both hands-on technically and capable of long-term technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

- Design and build the MVP and core product platform

- Translate product vision into technical architecture and implementation

- Make key decisions around technology stack, infrastructure,



and scalability

- Build rapid prototypes and iterate quickly

Technical Leadership

- Own the technical roadmap and system architecture

- Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and reliable

- Establish development standards, workflows, and engineering best practices

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies

Startup Execution

- Collaborate closely with the founder on product strategy and roadmap

- Prioritize features based on market feedback and business goals

- Balance speed of development with long-term technical sustainability

Team Building

- Recruit and lead future engineering hires

- Establish a strong engineering culture

- Mentor developers and scale the engineering team over time

Ideal Background

- 8+ years of software engineering experience

- Experience building products from 0 → 1

- Strong full-stack engineering capability

- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure/Vercel)

- Experience designing scalable architectures and APIs

- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Next, etc.)

- Robust backend development experience (Node, Python, etc.)

- Experience with databases, system design, and distributed systems

- Prior startup experience preferred
