STJ’s Engineers is looking for experienced CNC Operators to join our manufacturing team. We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in CNC/VMC operation who are interested in developing their technical skills and building a long-term career in the manufacturing industry.

JOB DETAILS

Position: CNC Operator

Experience: Minimum 2 years

Salary: ₹16,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Job Type: Full-time

Working Hours: 8 am to 6 pm

Shift: Rotational shifts

Location: Ernakulam, Kerala

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate CNC/VMC machines according to production requirements and job instructions.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform machine loading/unloading and basic machine setup.
- Carry out tool setting and tool offset adjustments.
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary offset corrections.
- Perform in-process inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure components meet the required dimensional and quality standards.
- Follow job cards, work instructions and production schedules.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and proper housekeeping.
- Follow safety and quality procedures.
- Report machine, tooling or quality-related issues to the concerned supervisor/QC team.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Operator.
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical,



Production or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling and tool offsets.
- Ability to use basic precision measuring instruments.
- Good attention to detail and work discipline.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- VMC / CNC Milling machine operation
- Fanuc or similar CNC control systems
- Tool setting and offset correction
- Basic understanding of cutting tools and machining parameters
- In-process dimensional inspection
