Job Purpose The Cluster Teacher will be responsible for training and developing newly hired creative employees engaged in the Terracotta Project. The role will focus on building employees’ practical creative skills, ensuring standardised training, demonstrating techniques, monitoring learning progress, and maintaining the required quality standards.

The Cluster Teacher will act as a trainer, mentor, and quality-support resource for employees across the assigned cluster.

Key Responsibilities1. Employee Training & Skill Development

- Conduct structured training sessions for newly hired creative employees.
- Provide hands-on training in terracotta-related creative work, techniques, processes, and tools as defined by the project.
- Demonstrate creative techniques and processes through practical sessions.
- Break down complex creative processes into simple, easy-to-understand steps.
- Train employees according to the project's defined curriculum, SOPs, designs, and quality standards.
- Provide individual guidance and additional support to employees who require more practice.
- Encourage creativity while ensuring employees follow approved project specifications.

1. Practical Demonstration & Mentoring

- Conduct regular practical demonstrations and workshops.
- Guide employees during hands-on practice and correct errors in real time.
- Mentor employees to improve their speed, accuracy, finishing, creativity, and consistency.
- Encourage employees to experiment with creative ideas within project guidelines.
- Identify individual strengths and areas requiring improvement.

1. Quality Monitoring

- Monitor the quality of work produced during training and practice sessions.
- Ensure employees understand and follow prescribed designs, techniques, measurements, finishing standards, and SOPs.
- Identify recurring quality issues and conduct corrective training.




- Maintain consistency of output across employees and assigned locations.
- Coordinate with the project/quality team regarding quality concerns and improvement areas.

1. Training Assessment

- Assess employees' creative and technical skills at regular intervals.
- Conduct practical assessments and skill evaluations.
- Maintain individual trainee progress records.
- Identify employees who require additional training or mentoring.
- Provide feedback to the Project Manager/Training Coordinator on employee performance and readiness.

1. Training Planning & Documentation

- Prepare daily/weekly training plans based on project requirements.
- Maintain attendance and training records.
- Maintain trainee assessment and progress reports.
- Document common challenges, training gaps, and corrective actions.
- Submit regular training and performance reports to the reporting manager.

1. Cluster Coordination

- Coordinate training activities across the assigned cluster.
- Ensure training schedules are followed effectively.
- Coordinate with cluster/project teams regarding employee requirements and training progress.
- Support the standardisation of training practices across different teams or centres.
- Participate in review meetings and provide updates on training outcomes.

1. Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve training methods and creative processes.
- Develop simple learning aids, demonstrations, reference materials, and practice exercises.
- Share effective creative techniques and best practices with the project team.
- Provide suggestions for improving employee productivity, quality, and skill development.

Candidate ProfileEducational Qualification
- Graduate/Diploma in Fine Arts, Design, Craft, Visual Arts, Ceramics, Sculpture, or a related creative field preferred.




- Candidates with strong practical experience in terracotta, pottery, handicrafts, clay work, or related creative activities may also be considered.

Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in creative training, handicrafts, terracotta, pottery, clay modelling, art & craft, design, or a similar field.
- Experience in training or mentoring teams is preferred.
- Experience working with entry-level employees or artisans will be an advantage.

Required Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of creative/artistic processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of terracotta/clay-related work is preferred.
- Strong demonstration and teaching skills.
- Ability to train employees with different levels of prior experience.
- Good creativity and attention to detail.
- Strong quality orientation.
- Patience and ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain training records and reports.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned cluster when required.

- Number of employees successfully trained.
- Training completion rate.
- Improvement in employee skill levels.
- Employee assessment/pass rate.
- Quality and consistency of creative output.
- Reduction in recurring production/creative errors.
- Training attendance and completion of planned sessions.
- Timely submission of training and progress reports.
- Employee productivity and readiness after training.

Preferred Candidate The ideal candidate should be a hands-on creative professional who can teach, demonstrate, mentor, and assess others. The person should be comfortable working directly with newly hired employees and helping them progress from basic skills to the level of quality and productivity required by the Terracotta Project. Salary: As per organisational norms and candidate experience.

Note: The exact training curriculum, creative techniques, production standards, and SOPs will be provided/defined by the Terracotta Project team.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
