About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the security operations of Azure cloud environments for our clients, ensuring robust security management, incident response, and compliance adherence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, particularly within Azure, and possess the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues across hybrid cloud infrastructures.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on long-term projects, contribute to innovative security strategies, and grow within a supportive and forward-thinking organization. The role is based in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, or Chennai, with a contract-to-hire employment type, and requires a proactive approach to security management and collaboration across multiple teams.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, engineering, or a related field.



They should have between 3 to 8 years of experience in information technology and security roles, with specific expertise in cloud security, especially within Azure. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CSSP, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty are preferred.

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in managing cloud security controls, firewalls, VPNs, network security groups, and access management. A solid understanding of security standards and regulations such as NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, and GDPR is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical, along with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment and adapt to evolving security landscapes.

Responsibilities The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for a broad range of security management activities, including monitoring and responding to security alerts, investigating suspicious activities, and managing security incidents within SLA/SLO requirements.

Key responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting Azure security controls, firewalls, network security groups, and access policies, ensuring the security and connectivity of cloud resources. The role involves supporting whitelist requests, security exception processes, and troubleshooting connectivity issues across Azure resources, virtual machines, and networks. The engineer will review security logs from SIEM, firewalls, and endpoints, escalating high-impact issues as necessary.

Managing

ServiceNow incidents, supporting vulnerability remediation,



and conducting security assessments are vital components of the role. Additionally, the engineer will support identity and access management, monitor hybrid cloud environments, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Developing and maintaining operational documentation, analyzing recurring issues, and recommending process improvements are also part of the responsibilities.

The role requires active participation in security architecture reviews, cross-team collaboration, and continuous learning to stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
