Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or Psy.D. from an RCI-recognized institution.
- Registration: Valid and active registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) as a Clinical Psychologist (Mandatory).

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct psychological assessments, interviews, and testing to evaluate the mental health status and emotional well-being of patients.
- Diagnose mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders.
- Provide differential diagnoses and recommend appropriate interventions based on assessment findings.
- Offer psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, and groups.
- Use a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy,



and other evidence-based modalities.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to the needs of patients and review progress periodically.
- Help patients develop coping strategies and emotional resilience.
- Provide support in managing and overcoming life challenges such as grief, trauma, relationship issues, or stress-related conditions.
- Educate patients about mental health, self-care techniques, and how to manage ongoing psychological challenges.Role & responsibilities
