Role Description The Client Acquisition Partner – Web Development Projects internship is a remote role focused on identifying and securing clients for web development initiatives that support Varma’s Trust and its mission. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching potential partners, reaching out to prospective clients, and presenting web development services aligned with the organization’s goals.

The intern will help develop and refine outreach strategies, coordinate introductory calls or meetings, and maintain accurate records of leads and client interactions. This role also involves collaborating with the web development team to understand project offerings, preparing basic proposals,



and supporting ongoing client relationship management. The internship offers hands-on experience in client acquisition within a social impact setting, with flexibility to work remotely.

Qualifications

- Client outreach and relationship-building skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with prospective partners.
- Basic knowledge of web development concepts and project workflows to effectively discuss services with potential clients.
- Research and analytical skills for identifying qualified leads, understanding client needs, and tracking outreach activities.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads, follow-ups, and remote collaboration efficiently.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare concise messages and simple proposals.
- Comfort working in a mission-driven, non-profit environment and an interest in education, community support, and social impact.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrate initiative, and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Relevant academic background or coursework in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
