: Job Title: Chief Manager & Zonal Head - Training

As the Chief Manager & Zonal Head of Training at Axis Max Life Insurance, you will be responsible for the development and execution of training strategies that enhance the skills and performance of our workforce. This role involves overseeing all training initiatives across your designated zone, ensuring that all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and capabilities to meet business objectives. You will lead a team of trainers, collaborate with various departments to identify training needs, and utilize innovative training methodologies to promote a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy aligned with business goals.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across the zonal teams.
- Design and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels.




- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior management to foster a culture of learning and professional development within the organization.
- Manage the training budget, ensuring the effective allocation of resources for training initiatives.
- Mentor and guide the training team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Stay updated on training trends and best practices to bring innovative training solutions to the organization.
- Prepare reports on training activities and outcomes for senior management to track progress and make informed decisions.

Skills and Tools Required

- Proven experience in a leadership role within training and development, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and innovative training methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members.
- Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and ROI.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools.
- Experience in designing e-learning programs and utilizing digital training platforms is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry and regulatory requirements will be an added advantage.
