About the Role

Pallium India is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) to lead the organisation’s people strategy, organisational culture and leadership development.

The CHRO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, strengthening organisational capability through effective people practices, talent development, leadership succession and a strong, values-driven culture, while ensuring the organisation continues to grow with compassion, accountability and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- People Strategy &

• Organisational Development: Align people strategies, structures and systems with organisational priorities and support sustainable growth and transformation.

- Talent Acquisition &

• Onboarding: Strengthen employer brand and lead fair, values-based recruitment, selection and onboarding of employees, fellows and volunteers.

- Talent Development &

• Leadership Pipeline: Build learning and capability initiatives, identify and nurture talent, and strengthen succession planning and leadership depth.

- Culture &

• Employee Engagement: Champion the Pallium India Way, strengthen shared values and organisational identity, and foster an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing culture across centres and teams.

- Employee Experience &

• Wellbeing: Promote a supportive and psychologically safe workplace, with initiatives that strengthen employee wellbeing, resilience and engagement.

- HR Governance &

• Operations:



Strengthen performance management, workforce planning, HR policies, people analytics, rewards, statutory compliance and people governance.

Desired Profile

Education

Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management (HRM) or a related HR discipline from a recognised institution is mandatory.

Experience

- Significant senior leadership experience in HR, People & Culture or Organisational Development.
- Proven experience in aligning people strategy with organisational goals and supporting organisational transformation.
- Strong experience in talent acquisition, culture building, leadership development and succession planning.
- Sound understanding of employment legislation, HR systems, policy design, governance and people analytics.
- Experience in leading HR transformation or change in a complex, multidisciplinary organisation.
- Experience in healthcare, public health, nonprofit or social impact organisations will be an advantage.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and volunteer networks will be an advantage.
