Experience: 15–20 years, including at least 5 years in a senior FMCG / retail operations leadership role

Qualification: Graduate / MBA (Operations, Retail or General Management preferred)

Background Sought: FMCG operations background is a must.

Looking for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer to own the complete marketing charter for a quick-growing wellness & consumer care venture backed by an 84-year legacy conglomerate.

As Chief Operating Officer, you will be CEO's operating partner in scaling the company from a young, high-potential wellness brand into a pan-India, multi-channel retail platform — with a stated ambition of 400 stores nationally and ₹2,000 crore in turnover by March 2027. You will own execution across retail stores, supply chain and operating systems — building the engine that lets the brand grow from 2 cities to many, without losing quality, discipline or culture along the way.

ROLE

- Own end-to-end operational execution and P&L; discipline across retail stores, D2C fulfilment and marketplace operations.
- Build and scale supply chain, warehousing and inventory systems to support rapid multi-city store rollout toward the 400-store, ₹2,000cr target.
- Partner directly with the CEO to translate the wellness-platform vision into operating playbooks, SOPs and systems that scale.
- Drive store operations excellence across Ahmedabad, Mumbai,



Rajkot and Surat, and lead the operating readiness for future markets.
- Build lean, high-performing teams from scratch — no legacy baggage, no layers, no hierarchy.
- Liaise closely with Group Mangalam's manufacturing and sourcing units (MGEL, Mangalam Worldwide) on production planning, quality and cost efficiency.
- Put in place the systems and processes a company needs to scale from a handful of stores toward a 400-store national footprint.
- Own vendor management, procurement and overall cost efficiency.
- Sit on the leadership team and be the operational backbone alongside the CEO and CMO.

MUST HAVES

- 15+ years in FMCG / retail operations, with proven experience scaling multi-site retail or FMCG operations — store rollouts, supply chain, and operating systems.
- A builder's mindset: comfortable doing hands-on work personally, not just directing strategy from a cabin.
- Demonstrated ability to set up operations and teams from the ground up in a fast-growing, resource-lean environment.
