Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Odisha, India, responsible for overseeing the overall financial strategy and health of GDFS Group and its subsidiaries. The CFO will lead financial planning and budgeting, manage cash flow and capital allocation, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across all business units. This role includes overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing strategic insights to the leadership team to support decision-making and long-term growth.





The CFO will manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve leading and mentoring the finance team, improving financial systems and controls, and supporting expansion initiatives in both financial services and healthcare.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Finance, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting, with the ability to design and implement robust financial strategies.
- Proficiency in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting Financial Statements, including consolidated reports across multiple business units.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate investments, profitability, risk, and performance metrics in both financial services and healthcare sectors.
- Proven experience in treasury management, budgeting, cost control, and capital structuring.
- Knowledge of relevant Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing finance teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Skilled qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, or MBA in Finance (or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience in financial services, broking, wealth management, or pharmaceutical/healthcare industries is an advantage.
