NewAge PU College is looking for a dedicated and experienced Chemistry Lecturer who can inspire students, strengthen their conceptual understanding, and prepare them effectively for academic and competitive examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry for PUC students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-oriented classroom sessions.
- Prepare students for Board Examinations and competitive entrance examinations such as NEET, JEE and KCET, as applicable.
- Conduct regular tests, assignments and assessments to monitor student progress.
- Provide additional academic support and doubt-clearing sessions when required.
- Conduct and supervise Chemistry laboratory practical sessions while ensuring proper safety procedures.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, question papers and revision materials.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and student performance.
- Identify students who require additional support and provide appropriate guidance.
- Participate in departmental meetings, examinations,
academic activities and college events.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined and student-friendly learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. preferred, where applicable.
- Previous teaching experience at the PUC/11th–12th level is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent conceptual clarity in Chemistry.
- Experience in NEET/JEE/KCET coaching will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, presentation and classroom-management skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
