Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Chartered Accountant trainee based in Ahmedabad. The intern will assist with statutory audits, internal audits, and concurrent audits, including testing controls, reviewing documentation, and preparing working papers. Daily responsibilities include supporting direct and indirect tax compliance and advisory work, such as preparing returns, compiling data, assisting in assessments, and drafting basic representations.

The role involves participating in bookkeeping and financial reporting assignments, including ledger scrutiny, reconciliations,



and preparation of financial statements under guidance. The intern will also help with management consultancy projects by conducting research, performing analytical reviews, preparing reports, and coordinating with client teams. This internship offers exposure to multiple service lines, structured learning, and mentorship from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and taxation principles, with the ability to apply relevant standards and regulations in practice.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and interpretation of financial statements.
- Comfort with commonly used accounting and office software (e.g., Excel, accounting packages, document management tools) and willingness to learn new systems.
- Effective communication skills for preparing clear working papers, reports, and client correspondence, along with professional conduct in client interactions.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (e.g., CA articleship/CA internship) or a similar qualified qualification; relevant academic background in commerce, finance, or accounting preferred.
- Interest in continuous learning and readiness to build a long-term career in audit, taxation, and advisory services.
