Role Description This full-time, on-site Certified Medical Coder role is based in Noida and supports accurate, compliant coding across multiple specialties and services.

The Certified Medical

Coder reviews medical records and documentation to assign appropriate codes, ensuring alignment with payer, regulatory, and organizational guidelines. The role involves working closely with billing and RCM teams to minimize denials, clarify documentation, and optimize reimbursement.



Daily responsibilities include validating medical necessity, updating codes in response to regulatory changes, communicating with clinical staff about documentation requirements, and supporting audits and quality checks.

The position requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to coding standards, and collaboration to maintain efficient revenue cycle operations.

Qualifications

- Coding expertise with demonstrated Medical Coding and Coding Experience across relevant specialties and services.
- Foundational knowledge in Medical Terminology and Health Information Management to interpret clinical documentation accurately.
- Certification such as RHIT or equivalent credential in health information, coding, or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of ICD, CPT, HCPCS, and payer-specific guidelines, along with familiarity with compliance and audit requirements.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and coding/billing software, and ability to adapt to current systems and workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related healthcare field; prior RCM or billing experience is an advantage.
