Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payments Implementation &

- Operations Specialist with strong expertise in payment processing, client onboarding, implementation management, fraud prevention, chargeback handling, dispute management, reconciliation, and 3D Secure solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, payment partners, product teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver seamless onboarding, implementation, and operational support for payment services.

Key Responsibilities

Payment Implementation &

- Client Onboarding

- Lead end-to-end client onboarding and payment implementation projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful client go-live.
- Manage implementation timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
- Conduct UAT, certification testing, and production readiness activities.
- Support payment integrations and configuration across multiple payment channels.

Project Management

- Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously.
- Track project milestones, risks, issues, and status reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Drive implementation governance and continuous process improvements.

Fraud &

- Risk Management

- Support fraud prevention initiatives and transaction monitoring activities.
- Work with fraud tools and authentication mechanisms including 3D Secure.
- Investigate suspicious transactions and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with payment security standards and best practices.

Chargebacks &

- Disputes

- Manage chargeback and dispute lifecycles from initiation through resolution.
- Liaise with acquiring banks, card schemes,



merchants, and customers.
- Analyze dispute trends and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to scheme regulations and SLA requirements.

Reconciliation &

- Settlement

- Perform transaction, settlement, and financial reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and exceptions.
- Generate reconciliation reports and operational metrics.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure settlement accuracy.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding and implementation.
- Coordinate with product, technology, operations, fraud, and compliance teams.
- Provide regular project updates and operational reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with payment partners and third-party vendors.

Required Skills

- Robust understanding of payment processing and card payments.
- Hands-on experience in client onboarding and implementation projects.
- Knowledge of acquiring, issuing, gateways, payment networks, and transaction lifecycle.
- Experience in fraud monitoring, fraud prevention, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of chargebacks, disputes, retrievals, and representments.
- Experience with reconciliation processes and settlement operations.
- Working knowledge of 3D Secure, authentication flows, and payment security.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Visa, Mastercard, and other card scheme operations.
- Knowledge of payment APIs and integration testing tools (Postman).
- Familiarity with payment gateways, PSPs, and fintech platforms.
- Understanding of PCI-DSS and payment security standards.
- Exposure to Agile project delivery methodologies.
