Role Description The Career Counselor will provide structured guidance to students exploring online degree programs and career pathways, helping them align their education choices with long-term professional goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing student interests and aptitudes, explaining program options, and recommending suitable universities and courses. The role involves maintaining accurate counseling records, collaborating with mentors and admissions teams, and supporting students through application, enrollment, and early academic transitions.





The Career

Counselor will also contribute to workshops or informational sessions, provide follow-up support, and ensure counseling is unbiased, data-driven, and aligned with LearningShala’s trust-first approach. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Career Counseling and Student Counseling skills, with experience guiding learners through academic and career decisions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Career Development and Career Management to help students plan long-term pathways and navigate transitions in their professional journeys.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear articulation, and the ability to explain complex options in simple language.
- Familiarity with higher education systems, online degree programs, and job market trends is beneficial.
- Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds, maintain confidentiality, and offer unbiased, data-driven guidance.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field; formal counseling certification is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, comfort with digital tools and CRM systems, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
