About the Role

We are looking for a Calypso Finance BA with 8+ years of experience and robust hands-on expertise in the Calypso Accounting Module. You will bridge finance, accounting, and technology — translating accounting and business requirements into well-defined Calypso configurations and functional specifications. Finance and accounting domain knowledge is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead business analysis activities for Calypso Accounting Module — eliciting, documenting, and managing functional requirements across finance and accounting workstreams.
- Define and validate GL mapping rules, accounting event configurations, and posting logic — covering trade, settlement, accrual, amortisation, and P&L; accounting.
- Collaborate with Calypso developers and finance teams — translating accounting requirements into Calypso configuration and technical specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis — identifying differences between current Calypso accounting setup and target state requirements.
- Support UAT activities — developing test scripts, validating accounting outputs, and coordinating business sign-off.
- Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives as an embedded BA.
- Produce clear documentation — functional specifications, accounting mapping documents, and UAT sign-off evidence.

What We're Looking For

8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong hands-on Calypso Accounting Module expertise.
2. Deep Calypso accounting knowledge — GL mapping, accounting event configuration, P&L; accounting, accrual / amortisation, and reconciliation.
3. Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills — user stories, BRDs, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
4. Good capital markets domain knowledge — trade lifecycle, financial instruments, and back office operations.
5. Solid SQL skills — data querying and validation for accounting reconciliation and testing support.
6. Strong stakeholder management — engaging finance, operations, and technology teams effectively.
7. Good Agile delivery experience — Jira and Confluence in sprint-based delivery teams.
