About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Technician with hands-on experience in SolidWorks for 3D modelling, design development, and preparation of engineering drawings.

The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 3D models and 2D drawings based on customer drawings, samples, sketches, and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare accurate 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings.
- Develop models based on customer drawings, samples, sketches, and technical requirements.
- Modify existing designs as per manufacturing and machining requirements.
- Prepare drawings for patterns, core boxes, fixtures, and other tooling as required.
- Understand and incorporate machining allowances, dimensional tolerances, and design requirements.
- Incorporate design changes and maintain proper drawing revision control.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs and design documentation.
- Assist in resolving design and manufacturing issues through suitable design modifications.
- Maintain an organized database of drawings, 3D models, and technical documents.
- Support new product development and improvement of existing components.

Skills Required
- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks is essential.
- Good knowledge of 3D modelling, assemblies,



and 2D drawing preparation.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, fits, and GD&T;.
- Understanding of manufacturing and machining processes.
- Basic knowledge of engineering materials.
- Ability to work from customer drawings, samples, and sketches.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Experience & Qualification
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in SolidWorks, mechanical design, 3D modelling, or a similar role.
- Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in foundry, machining, tooling, fabrication, or engineering manufacturing will be preferred.

- Proficient in SolidWorks and 3D modelling.
- Hands-on and technically oriented.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Able to understand manufacturing requirements and convert them into practical designs.
- Proactive and willing to coordinate with different departments.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Salary ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience, technical skills, and suitability for the role.

Pay: ₹14,733.56 - ₹25,072.59 per month
