Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CA Article trainee role based in Mumbai. The trainee will assist in audits of various entities, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and preparation of working papers under the supervision of senior team members. Daily tasks include supporting accounting and bookkeeping, reconciling financial statements, and helping with preparation of tax returns and compliance filings.

The article trainee will conduct research on tax,



accounting, and regulatory matters, assist in drafting reports, and help prepare documentation for client meetings. The role also involves learning and using accounting and audit tools, maintaining organized records, adhering to professional standards, and actively participating in internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Qualifications

- Registered as a Chartered Accountancy student and eligible for articleship as per ICAI regulations.

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, taxation basics, and corporate laws.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with accounting and ERP software is an advantage.

- Good analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reconciliations.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to prepare clear work papers and reports.

- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate within a team, manage deadlines, and handle multiple assignments.

- High level of integrity, professionalism, and willingness to learn from structured training and on-the-job exposure.

- Prior internship experience in accounting or finance, and interest in audit, taxation, or advisory services will be beneficial.
