This role requires a leader with prior experience in the logistics, transportation, supply chain, or consulting industry, who has successfully built or scaled a business vertical and can manage both commercial growth and operational execution.

Role & responsibilities

Business Development & Growth

- Develop and execute the growth strategy for Carrum's Logistics vertical.
- Identify and acquire new enterprise customers across industries.
- Build strategic partnerships with logistics service providers, transporters, and corporate clients.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability for the logistics business.
- Explore new markets, service offerings, and business opportunities.

Business Setup & Expansion

- Build the logistics business from the ground up, including processes, operating models, and service delivery.
- Define pricing models, commercial strategies, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Establish scalable operational frameworks to support rapid business growth.
- Lead expansion into current cities and customer segments.




- Oversee end-to-end logistics execution.
- Develop SOPs to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
- Drive continuous improvements in productivity and cost optimization.

Financial & Commercial Management

- Prepare annual business plans and revenue forecasts.
- Optimize operational costs while maintaining service quality.
- Monitor business KPIs and entire P&L; of the business.

Client Relationship Management

- Build long-term relationships with enterprise customers.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract closures, and account management

Preferred candidate profile

- 8-10 years of experience in consulting, strategy, business operations, or startup environments.
- Post graduate/MBA in Business Management.
- Proven experience in building and scaling a logistics, transportation, or supply chain business.
- Experience handling P&L; responsibility and business expansion.
