Role Description The Business Head at 21K School will lead overall business strategy, growth, and operations for the new product category ensuring alignment with the school’s mission of personalized, high-quality online education. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru includes overseeing enrollment growth, revenue performance, and market expansion, while maintaining learner and family satisfaction.

The Business

Head will collaborate with academic, technology, and marketing teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives, partnerships, and recent programs. Daily responsibilities include reviewing performance metrics, optimizing processes, managing budgets, guiding cross-functional teams, and representing the school in key stakeholder meetings.



The role also involves identifying new opportunities, managing risks, and building a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Qualifications

- Strategic leadership and business management skills, including experience in developing and executing growth strategies and managing P&L; or business units.
- Operational excellence and process improvement skills, with the ability to streamline workflows, implement scalable systems, and manage cross-functional projects.
- Stakeholder management and communication skills, including strong interpersonal abilities to work with internal teams, partners, and families, and represent the school externally.
- Data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in analyzing performance metrics, market trends, and financial reports to guide strategy and improvements.
- Experience in the education, edtech, or related sectors, with understanding of online learning models, international curricula, or learner-centric approaches.
- Proven people management skills, including mentoring leaders, building high-performing teams, and fostering an inclusive, learner-focused culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Education, or a related field; a master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment focused on innovation and global expansion.
