- Own and continuously refine the ICP for the Retail and Consumer vertical: segment definition, firmographic and technographic filters, trigger events and hard disqualifiers.
- Build target account lists independently using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, StoreLeads, BuiltWith or equivalent, and keep them current.
- Run multi-channel outbound personally cold email, LinkedIn, calls and sequenced follow-up writing your own messaging.
- Sell across both motions and know which one a given account needs: custom engineering engagements, and productized platform or accelerator offerings.
- Run product demonstrations end to end, tailored to the buyer’s actual workflow rather than a generic

feature tour.
- Handle build-versus-buy conversations honestly, including recommending the option that is smaller for us when it is right for them.




- Run pilots and proofs of concept to a paid, time-boxed outcome rather than letting them drift.
- Contribute to solution and account strategy alongside pre-sales and architects: engagement model, phasing and commercial structure.
- Structure, present and close across time-and-material, fixed-bid, dedicated-team and product licence or subscription models.
- Attach a support, maintenance or extension path to every engagement closed.
- Feed competitive intelligence, feature gaps and objection patterns back into the product roadmap.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, next steps and forecast in HubSpot CRM.
