About the job
We are looking for a results-driven professional to drive current client acquisition through market expansion. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building opportunities from scratch, developing strong client relationships, and converting prospects into long-term business partnerships. The role is responsible for building and managing the sales pipeline, developing relationships with brands and agencies, and closing new business.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients across brands, agencies and marketplace sellers
- Generate leads through direct outreach, industry networks, referrals and events
- Understand client requirements and develop scoped proposals accordingly
- Coordinate with the studio team to align commitments with delivery capacity
- Negotiate commercial terms including rates, volumes and timelines
- Grow existing accounts from initial projects into long-term retainers
- Represent Palettier at industry events and trade shows
- Maintain accurate pipeline records and revenue forecasts
Qualifications and Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in business development, sales or client servicing, preferably within a digital marketing agency, content production house, creative studio or photography studio
- Established relationships with brands, e-commerce businesses or agencies and familiarity with the D2C, retail or e-commerce landscape in India
- Proven track record of closing new business and meeting revenue targets
- Experience selling creative or professional services
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
- Confident presenting to senior stakeholders, including founders and marketing heads
- Comfortable working in an early-stage environment with a high degree of ownership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of CRM tools
