About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst – Trade Finance to join our Global Transaction Banking team. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in Trade Finance, Documentary Trade, and Open Account , with proven experience translating business requirements into technology and digital solutions.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Technology, and Product Delivery teams to drive business process transformation and deliver best-in-class banking products and customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and document Trade Finance and Open Account business processes, requirements, and operational procedures.
- Gather, define, and translate business needs into clear business and solution requirements .
- Work closely with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and develop detailed user stories.
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, transformation, and automation .




- Ensure solution designs are aligned with business, product, customer, and user requirements.
- Prepare and review SIT and UAT test cases , covering positive, negative, functional, and non-functional scenarios.
- Participate in UAT, functionality testing, and solution validation .
- Support product intent and business requirements discussions and communicate requirements effectively to technical teams.
- Develop product/module training materials and conduct training sessions when required.
- Manage stakeholders across business, technology, product management, and product delivery functions.
- Provide guidance on value-added changes while challenging non-value-added requirements.
- Lead designated projects or assignments and provide direction to project team members.
- Support local, regional, and international banking projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 6–8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Trade Operations, Trade Finance, Client Support, or related banking technology functions.
- Strong domain expertise in Trade Finance – Documentary Trade and Open Account .
- Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and customer requirements.
- Proven experience in business requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation,



and re-engineering .
- Experience translating business requirements into functional/solution requirements and user stories .
- Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, test case preparation, and functional testing .
- Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments .
- Experience working closely with Product Owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders .
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence or equivalent tools.
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio .
- Understanding of UI/UX and customer experience is an advantage.

Preferred Certification

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) , Agile Coach, or equivalent Agile certification.
