Position: Business Analyst - Finance Domain Location: Bangalore/Chennai Work Type: Hybrid Job Type: Full Time Position Overview

- Critical hands-on Business Analyst role within the Quantitative Research & Investment Technology (QRIT) team, supporting Asset Management functions.
- Initially opened as maternity-leave coverage, with potential for longer-term opportunities based on business needs and performance.

Mandatory Skill Set

- Hands on Business Analyst position with 7-10yrs
- Engineering back ground + Strong Finance domain experience (CFA/MBA) OR Prior experience in Asset & Investment management.
- Ability to work both independently and with all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical team members.Knowledge on AI tools

Minimum Experience On Key Skills

- 7-10yrs

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 7–10 years of experience preferred; 10+ years may be considered for strong hands-on IC profiles.
- Engineering/Technology background is required.
- Strong Investment / Asset Management domain knowledge.
- Relevant CFA (L1/L2), FRM, or Finance-focused MBA is a plus.
- No people managers/team leads — preference is for hands-on individual contributors.

- Investment / Asset Management Knowledge
- Asset & Portfolio Management, Portfolio Construction, Financial Markets.
- Understanding of stocks, bonds, benchmarks, portfolios, trading and investment concepts.





- Strong Business Analysis Skills
- Requirement gathering, documentation, stakeholder management and process analysis.
- Ability to work closely with Product/Engineering teams and own requirements through delivery.
- Self-Starter & Quick Learner
- Proactive, analytical and solution oriented.
- Comfortable learning new concepts independently and leveraging AI/LLM tools for analysis and productivity.

Stakeholder & Behavioral Skills

- Experience engaging with Portfolio Managers, Analysts, Product Managers and global stakeholders.
- Strong communication, assertiveness, critical thinking and ability to challenge requirements when needed.
- Must demonstrate a partnership mindset rather than an order-taking approach.
- Technical Expectations
- Not a development role; coding is not required.
- Strong technology awareness and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Technology-savvy BA with an understanding of modern tools and AI-assisted ways of working.

General Expectation

- Must have Valuable Communication
- Must be ready to work in 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM Shift
- Flexible to work in Client Location Manyata or EGL, Bangalore
- Must be ready to work from office in a Hybrid work environment. Full Remote work is not an option
- Expect Full Return to office in 2026
