Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Thiruvananthapuram. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for study abroad and healthcare recruitment services, including building and maintaining relationships with educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and potential partners.

The Business Development

Manager will conduct market research, generate and qualify leads, prepare and deliver presentations, and negotiate agreements that support growth targets. Day-to-day activities include meeting prospective clients and partners,



collaborating with internal teams to design service offerings, tracking sales pipelines, and reporting on performance metrics to leadership. The role also involves representing Acumen Global at events, fostering long-term client relationships, and ensuring a high standard of customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong business development, sales, and client relationship management skills, with proven ability to meet growth targets.
- Experience in education consulting, study abroad services, or recruitment (healthcare sector experience in GCC markets is an advantage).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders professionally.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to conduct market research and interpret data for strategic decisions.
- Ability to work in office in Thiruvananthapuram, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and other business productivity software; familiarity with digital marketing concepts is beneficial.
- Prior experience in international education, overseas admissions, or manpower placement will be considered an added advantage.
