Role Description The Branch Manager (Logistics) is a full-time, in office role based at the SKY OCEAN ACADEMY facility in Kozhikode. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations, including coordinating logistics training activities, aligning with industry partners, and ensuring smooth functioning of administrative and operational processes.

The Branch

Manager will plan and manage local logistics-related initiatives, monitor performance metrics, and support the integration of real-world logistics practices into the academy’s programs. Daily tasks include supervising staff, managing resource allocation, maintaining compliance with institutional policies,



and fostering strong relationships with learners, faculty, and external stakeholders. The role also involves identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, supporting marketing and outreach efforts, and contributing to the overall growth and reputation of the Kozhikode branch.

Qualifications

- Experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations, with the ability to connect industry practices to an educational environment.
- Proven branch or operations management skills, including team leadership, scheduling, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with attention to detail in documentation, reporting, and compliance.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with learners, faculty, industry partners, and internal teams.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with local logistics companies and stakeholders to support industry exposure for learners.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and service quality.
- Comfort with digital tools and basic technology used in logistics operations and training environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an educational, training, or institute-based setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
