1. To attend routine breakdowns and any kind of maintenance work during all shift. As per department SOP/work instructions. This includes routine checks, preventive maintenance, development work, project work etc.
2. To inform immediate superiors about shift maintenance work which is being carried out during his shift.
3. To carry out maintenance work during course of shutdown as per as per instructions given by superiors.
4. To check daily oil levels in pumps, mechanical seals and other equipment.
5. To check operations/functions of the equipment in order to confirm whether they are being run smoothly. Observe & report abnormalities to superiors for necessary action.

To record all relevant working condition data of the equipment during his shift and maintain maintenance register.
7. Workmen will perform duty as per superior instruction to them from time to time and the worker will not leave his work place unless his reliever relieves him, and/ or without permission of the superior.
8. Adopt work practices that support EHS programs
9. Ensure that any hazardous conditions, near misses and injuries are reported immediately to the supervisor.
