Work Experience:

2 to 5 years of progressive responsibility in BIM, Revit Modelling, 3D model QA/QC, Automation, working for an Architectural, Engineering, Off-site Construction firm.

About the Role:

We are looking for a BIM QA Engineer - Revit & Automation to join our BIM and Product Engineering team. You will be responsible for reviewing BIM models against Livio's predefined panelization standards, ensuring fabrication-ready quality, identifying constructability issues, and developing automation tools that improve engineering productivity and reduce manual quality checks.

This role suits someone who thinks like an engineer, understands BIM workflows, has excellent attention to detail, and enjoys solving engineering problems through automation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review Architectural, Structural and MEP Revit models using Livio's predefined QA/QC checklist before panelization.
2. Validate BIM models for constructability, fabrication readiness, modelling standards, dimensions, levels, grids, wall assemblies, openings and coordination.
3. Identify modelling errors, clashes, constructability issues and quality concerns, and coordinate with Engineering, BIM and Production teams for resolution.
4.



Build and maintain automation scripts and tools using Dynamo, Python and C# to automate model validation, quality checks and repetitive engineering workflows.
5. Develop Revit API solutions, custom tools and parametric workflows that improve engineering productivity and reduce manual rework.
6. Create automated QA/QC reports, model health reports and validation dashboards for engineering review.
7. Develop and maintain parametric Revit families, templates and company standards to support high-quality BIM deliverables.
8. Document automation workflows, QA/QC procedures and provide training to internal engineering and BIM teams.
9. Maintain version control, quality assurance and continuous improvement of automation tools, BIM standards and engineering workflows.

Qualifications:

- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit with strong command over modelling, detailing and documentation workflows.
- Strong understanding of BIM Quality Assurance, Model Validation, Coordination and Constructability Review.
- Proven experience in automating Revit workflows using Dynamo, Revit API, Python and C#, including custom nodes, API-based scripts and productivity tools.
- Experience reviewing Architectural, Structural and MEP models for panelization and fabrication readiness.
- Ability to create robust parametric Revit families and templates following company standards.
- Knowledge of panelized construction, prefabrication or Light Gauge Steel (LGS/CFS) systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills with the ability to coordinate with Engineering, BIM, Manufacturing and Product teams.
- Good project management ability to plan tasks, prioritize deliverables and improve engineering processes through automation.
