The Billing Staff is responsible for preparing and issuing customer invoices accurately and on time, ensuring proper documentation of all billing activities, and handling customer queries related to billing.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and issue accurate customer invoices based on sales orders or service delivery.
- Maintain proper billing records and filing of invoices.
- Track pending payments and follow up with customers.
- Update customer account statements regularly.
- Handle customer billing queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams to confirm service details before invoicing.
- Record all billing transactions in the ERP/accounting system.
- Prepare reports on billing status, payment collections, and outstanding balances.
- Ensure compliance with GST invoicing rules.
- Assist in preparing monthly billing reports for management.
✅ Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Com in Accounting or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in billing or invoicing.
- Familiarity with Tally
- Knowledge of GST billing format and tax laws.
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Excel knowledge.
✅ Working Hours:
- Shift-Based Timing: Between 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, as per the assigned shift schedule.
