We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Executive to manage patient billing operations across our hospital network, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of all inpatient and outpatient bills.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process patient bills for IP/OP, ensuring accuracy of tariffs, packages, and consumables
- Coordinate with insurance/TPA desks for cashless approvals, pre-authorizations, and claim settlements
- Verify and reconcile advance payments, discounts, and refunds
- Resolve patient billing queries and disputes promptly and courteously
- Maintain daily collection reports and reconcile with the finance team
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with clinical, pharmacy,
and insurance departments for accurate charge capture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.Com/BBA or equivalent); healthcare billing certification is a plus
- 2–5 years of experience in hospital/medical billing (healthcare industry preferred)
- Familiarity with HMS/hospital billing software and insurance/TPA processes
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Valuable communication skills for patient and insurer interaction
