Role Description The Bancassurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, responsible for driving life insurance business through assigned bank branches and partner relationships. This role involves managing and growing sales volumes, ensuring achievement of targets, and implementing sales strategies and campaigns within the bancassurance channel.

The Bancassurance

Manager will engage with bank staff, provide product training, and support them in identifying and converting customer leads. Daily activities include managing pipeline and reporting,



ensuring high-quality customer service, coordinating with internal HDFC Life teams, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and company policies. The role also requires oversight of branch-level performance, regular review meetings, and continuous relationship building with bank stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Finance and Insurance concepts, particularly life insurance and bancassurance products.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, including target achievement, pipeline management, and negotiation capabilities.
- Experience in Team Management, including guiding bank staff or sales teams and collaborating across functions.
- Excellent Customer Service orientation, with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in bancassurance, financial services, or insurance distribution is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in MS Office and basic analytics for reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
