Walk-In Drive | AWS Cloud Engineer (AWS MGN & Transform Services)

AWS Cloud Engineer (with AWS MGN and Transform services experience)

1. Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, ELB, Route 53, and storage services. Proven experience in Data Center Exit or large-scale migration from on-premise to AWS.

Strong expertise with AWS MGN and Transform services for migration and modernization.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform including module development and automation.

Valuable to understand TIBCO ESB integration patterns and dependencies.

Experience working with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025) and RHEL (7/8/9).

Strong knowledge of AWS networking including VPC, VPN, subnets, routing, and security groups.

Experience using CloudWatch, CloudTrail for monitoring and logging.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD integration with AWS.

Understanding of AWS security best practices and IAM governance.

1. Responsibilities and Duties

Provision and configure AWS infrastructure for EC2-based application hosting. Execute migrations using AWS MGN including replication, test cutover, and production cutover.

Support Transform activities such as right-sizing and OS optimization.

Good to have Migration Planning & Setup (Pre-MGN Execution), MGN Replication & Data Sync Activities,



Test Migration (Dry Run / Pilot Execution), Cutover & Production Migration Execution, Post-Migration & Optimization (Transform Alignment).

Develop reusable Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning.

Collaborate with application, database, and middleware teams for migration readiness.

Participate in migration wave planning, execution, and hypercare.

Implement AWS security controls and access configurations.

Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.

Troubleshoot infrastructure and performance issues during migration phases.

Prepare documentation, runbooks, and handover artifacts for operations teams.

1. Cloud Experience Needed

8 to 12 years of overall IT experience. 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS migration using MGN and Transform tools.

Experience in Data Center Exit or enterprise cloud migration programs.

Strong exposure to EC2-based application hosting models.

Experience with hybrid connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect).

Understanding of AWS CAF and MAP migration frameworks.

Experience working in multi-account AWS environments with governance controls.

Knowledge of high availability, performance, and scalability design in AWS.

Experience working with cross-functional teams in migration programs.

Hands-on exposure to DevOps tools integrated with AWS infrastructure.

Experience supporting cutover, rollback, and hypercare activities.

AWS certification (Solutions Architect or SysOps) is preferred.
