Position: Automotive RTL Design Engineer with Functional Safety

Experience: 6+ Years

Location: Bengaluru

Contract tenure: 1 year

Required Skills:

- Solid hands-on experience in RTL design and development for Automotive IPs, including micro-architecture, RTL coding, and integration using SystemVerilog / Verilog.
- Proven experience working on Functional Safety (FUSA) compliant designs, with clear understanding of ISO 26262 concepts and safety-driven design requirements.
- Prior exposure to ASIL (A/B/C/D) requirements, including safety mechanisms implementation (e.g., redundancy, error detection, safe state handling).
- Experience in Automotive RTL IP development lifecycle, from specification review to RTL sign-off, including interaction with architecture, DV, and safety teams




- Hands-on experience with RTL quality checks such as Lint, CDC, RDC, and resolving violations in line with safety and quality guidelines.
- Ability to support and participate in FUSA / ASIL compliance reviews, safety assessments, and design audits with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with automotive documentation practices, including safety manuals, design justifications, and traceability artifacts
- Good understanding of safetydriven error handling concepts relevant to Automotive designs, including classification and handling of singlebit vs multibit and correctable vs noncorrectable errors, with the ability to design RTL behavior that supports appropriate detection, reporting, escalation, and safestate responses in alignment with ISO 26262 / ASILB safety goals and compliance expectations.
