The Role

We’re looking for an Automation & Scraping Engineer who can design, build, and maintain scripts that automate recruitment workflows and extract large amounts of data from different platforms.

You’ll work on things like:

- Automating job applications end-to-end
- Building reliable web scrapers
- Creating workflow automation between platforms

This is a fully remote role, perfect for someone who’s self-motivated, loves problem-solving, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

- Automate job application processes using Selenium or Playwright
- Build scrapers with Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, and XPath
- Handle challenges like captchas, bot detection, and proxy rotation
- Create scalable pipelines using multithreading or asyncio
- Integrate APIs and debug automation workflows
- Store and manage data in MongoDB or SQL
- Deploy, schedule, and monitor automation jobs
- Quickly update scripts when platforms change to keep them running smoothly

Skills You Must Have

1. Automation (Main Focus)

- Selenium or Playwright for browser-based automation
- Multi-step processes (login, form filling, file uploads)




- Captcha solving, proxy usage, stealth browsing
- Job scheduling and monitoring (cron jobs, task queues)

2. Web Scraping

- Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, XPath, requests/httpx
- Extracting data from dynamic pages & APIs
- Building scalable scrapers for large datasets

3. Performance & Concurrency

- Multithreading, multiprocessing, asyncio
- Handling errors and retries without breaking the process

4. Debugging & Optimization

- Using Chrome DevTools or Playwright Inspector
- Fixing flaky scripts and timeout issues
- Optimizing scripts for speed and stability

5. Data Handling

- MongoDB or SQL databases
- Cleaning, validating, and transforming data

6. Bonus Skills (Valuable to Have)

- Node.js/Express.js for API work
- React.js for basic frontend debugging
- Knowledge of server deployment & monitoring
